Pratik Vaidya, Chief Vision Officer and Managing Director, Karma Global, has been redesignated as Head and Convenor to recalibrate the prestigious portfolio of HR and Compliance and the Labour Committee on behalf of India SME. He expressed profound gratitude for the confidence reposed in him by the leadership team of India SME.
Pratik shared that what matters most to him in this role is the opportunity to shape practical solutions with real on-ground relevance and to support engagements with the Ministry of Labour and Employment and the Ministry of MSME, not only on labour reforms but also on the everyday challenges MSMEs manage across India.
In this role, he will serve as a key voice for the MSME sector, especially on implementation readiness for the labour codes, an area where Karma Global has been actively contributing for years as a long-standing member of India SME.
Conducted on Saturday, 29 November 2025, with participation from over 1000 attendees. The session focused on rewriting India’s labour playbook through the lens of the big rewrite and wage architecture.
Scheduled on Wednesday, 3 December 2025 at 12.00 noon, with a focus on the Social Security Code 2020 and its practical relevance for businesses and workers.
For several years, Pratik has focused his energy on strengthening transparent, business-friendly compliance practices. With over two decades of experience, he has played a crucial role in elevating Karma Global into a globally respected entity with presence across international markets.
He has led delegations through the Indo American Chamber and participated in high-profile global forums including COLLISION 2023 in Canada, with a continued focus on partnerships, investor engagement and strengthening the technology and compliance propositions of Karma Global.
Pratik’s depth in labour laws and compliance has positioned him across multiple industry bodies, including Indo American Chamber, India SME, NASSCOM and ASSOCHAM, where he is recognised for strengthening the compliance ecosystem with an implementation-first approach.
His knowledge initiatives include WeTag, MOJO as a monthly newsletter, and Sanwad as a monthly magazine for employees and clients, covering updates and insights from domestic and international developments in labour laws and compliance.
Since the Government of India announced the labour codes effective 21 November 2025, he has been actively sharing structured perspectives, with a focus on clarity, practical implementation and business readiness.
With this leadership responsibility, Pratik is expected to champion practical, transparent and business-friendly compliance for mid and small sectors. The focus remains on helping MSMEs navigate changes smoothly and adopt robust compliance systems aligned with the new labour codes, covering fair wages, timely payments, stronger social security, workplace safety, regulated work hours, and expanded health and accident benefits.
