Guidelines for Placement Assistance
Placement assistance consists of the following steps:
a) Registration of students for placement assistance.
b) Conduct Communication and Personality Development (CPD) sessions for placement-ready
students comprising of:

Employment market trends
- Roles in the Service industry ● Writing effective resumes
- Interview handling techniques ● Grooming
It is mandatory for the registered students to attend the CPD sessions.
c) Providing a maximum of three interview opportunities (until the student procures the first
job) for every placement-ready student based on his or her skill sets, aptitude and career
preference.
d) Liaising with clients on behalf of the student

To negotiate better terms of employment for the student.
- To get feedback about the student's performance in the interview.
e) Post interview debriefing to the student consisting of:

Feedback about what went 'right' or 'wrong' in the interview.
- Areas of improvement, both technical and behavioral.
Eligibility for placement assistance
A student is considered to be placement-ready and can avail of placement assistance provided
they:

Have successfully completed the course*
- Has a minimum qualification of 10 + 2 pass at the time of attending the job interview (in
the case of PG the student should be a graduate).
- It is the responsibility of the student to have read and fully understood the student handbook given to them at the time of admission.
